BrowserAddonsView is a new tool for Windows that displays the details of all Web browser addons/plugins installed in your system. BrowserAddonsView can scan and detect the addons of most popular Web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. For Chrome and Firefox, BrowserAddonsView detects and scans all Web browser profiles if there are multiple profiles.

I don’t know how this tool should be helpful, as there is an “addons page” in every browser to see which extensions are installed and which version ?

    I’m using Opera presto anyway.

In generel I find those browser tools very interesting, to see and understand the usage history of your own using.

Listen here, some extensions/plugins hide them selves, that is one reason I am using this. I’m tired of seeing people critiquing things by simply saying “why did you make this nobody will use it because I think it is stupid/redundant.”

    No, I think it’s great.

Hear, hear! Lad is absolutely right. There’s never a good reason to stop being vigilant, and Nir is making this oh so much easier.

I”m willing to give it a shot certainly. I’ve had most but not all addons icons randomly disappear. Says they are installed and enabled, but icons nowhere to be found on toolbar and inaccessible thru “customize”.
Not a tekkie so all I could do was sit there and think, “duh…?”
Grateful for all the help I can get.

I have a problem, because BrowserAddonsView doesn’t works in Web browsers : Opera and Edge.
I know that it only works on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, but I would like to know
if there is a possible to make this program work in Opera and Edge.
If there is such an opportunity, please explain me how to do it.
I’d be grateful for your help or guidance.

    Hello. Very interesting indeed!

    Two matters I noticed.

    1) On your program I installed there is a HELP button but it opens nothing. Needs to be fixed I assume.

    2) I would dearly love to make a clean list of solely the names of the extensions I have added in Chrome. How to do that please.

    Thank You, James
