NirLauncher package now has a Web site – http://launcher.nirsoft.net/

NirLauncher is a package of more than 100 utilities of  NirSoft Web site with a launcher application that allows you to easily find and launch the desired utility or its help file.
A few months ago, I released the first Beta of this package in this Blog, and finally, now NirLauncher has a separated Web site with the latest package available to download.

The Web site address of  NirLauncher Web site is http://launcher.nirsoft.net/

Starting from today, NirLauncher package will also be updated more frequently than before. The latest version and the last update date are automatically displayed in the download page, so you'll be able to easily see when there is a new package to download.
There is a new update from today, which includes all utilities changes made since the last NirLauncher release and the new FlashCookiesView utility. There is also a small improvement in NirLauncher application - it now allows you to launch the selected utility simply by pressing the Enter key. You can also change the functionality of Enter key in 'Advanced Options' window.

I thought that was a real download button. :(

Had to go back and find the right one.

Anyways glad to see this reach another milestone! :)

Been using you programs for years now and just found this while checking for updates. Bravo!!
I love the general idea of this and have already made a package for my Mitec utilities, updated the Sysinternals package to have descriptions for all utilities, and am in the process of making a Misc package for my other orphaned utilities. I'm not sure if there is a place to share nlp package files but would be willing to share mine if anyone is interested. I would also like to know if there is someplace to find out more information about this utility, like how does it determines if a program is a GUI of CLI, and other similar info.

If you are accepting ideas for future features or options, I'd like to put in a vote for a few.

    1. Search capabilities.
(Being able to search the data in the nlp files would be a huge help in finding different utilities to perform a task without scanning all the utilities descriptions one by one as many utilities have multiple functions and don't necessarily fit in a single category.)

    2. A package toolbar that could be turned on or off with icon representations for each package installed and would go directly to the package. Possibly a dropdown from each icon to navigate directly to a category for that package.

No matter what, your work is very appreciated and will get heavy use.

    Many Thanks,
    Akovia

Do you plan to do an on-line update of each utilities through nirLauncher ?

It is probably more convenient to just download only the modified utilities or the nirLauncher app instead of downloading a big package each time.

a translation of the launcher GUI would be nice. :)

i know it can be done, NirLauncher_lng.ini sort of works, but i don't know what numbers to use.

    thnx for the great app.

Can you add a filter function to list all utilities which match the keyword?
Then I can quickly find the one I need, instead of find one by one.
    Thanks!
